Manager of Laboratory Services
Well organized and possessing exceptional leadership abilities, you will be responsible for managing the provision of Laboratory Services for Muskoka Algonquin Healthcare including the lab's Quality Management Program. You will ensure all legal requirements as well as accepted ethical and professional best practices are met in accordance with applicable standards, policies and procedures of the hospital and all regulating bodies. Your collaborative nature and superb leadership skills will allow you to work with various stakeholders to plan, organize, and direct the day-to-day activities within the Laboratory Departments at both sites, ensuring smooth operations. Preferably you possess a degree in Health Management. Your current registration with the College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Ontario and a diploma in Health Management is required. Your six years' of professional experience as an MLT and five years' management experience, both in a hospital setting, is complemented with your proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management skills. You are experienced with leading preparations for Ontario Lab Accreditation and are familiar with developing operating budgets.
